Homework #2 |
Due to : 9th course week
Select two components from your design project and using layout A3 (adjusted) draw in full-size :
a. create a solid model of each component using SolidWorks
b. create necessary 3 views including at least one sectional view
c. give all necessary dimensions with metric tolerances and geometric tolerances
d. give all necessary surface finishing symbols
e. calculate the fit and allowances in accordance with your given tolerances
Make sure that all rounds, fillets and runouts are properly created. |
Homework #3 |
Due to : 11th course week
Design one of the components for fabrication by welding, using layout A3 (adjusted) draw in full-size
a. make a two-view working drawing (draw cross-sectional view of the welding joints)
b. indicate the dimensions using the welding symbols
c. include on the drawing a bill of materials and identify each part on the assembly
d. complete enlarged (detail) views of the welded joints to show the edge preperation for the drawing callouts
e. use notes to explain any additional welding requirements |
Homework #4 |
Due to : 13th course week
Complete the assembly by adding all the components of your design project and draw the following views
a. use your judgment for the scale and selection of views
b. make a two-view assembly drawing including a sectional view
c. include on the drawing a bill of materials and identify each part on the assembly |
